- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Took my cat in at 9pm as he had come home with his eyes dilated, breathing heavily and walking funny. Vet said he was fine.. telling me that he could just be stressed or could of got a fright, she also recommended to "leave him over night to monitor his breathing" which would have cost me $600. I thought this was unnessasary if my cat was "fine". The next day, I took him to our local vet who said "my cats condition is a very serious situation and that he is near death as he had been bitten by a snake" he passed away a couple hours after that.
